Inspired by the cosmic journey of life, this watch features three celestial bodies depicted on the dial: the sun, the earth and the moon. Each is laser engraved with Dr. Wu's signature motif and relates to a different function of the watch. The sun covers the miniature oscillating weight and rotates continuously, the earth covers the barrel and is linked with the movement of the hands, and the moon exposes the balance wheel and represents a waning moon. The watch's flange also features Dr. Woo's signature spider, a symbol of strength and protection.
The watch has a 42mm case made of EON Gold, a new alloy developed by Roger Dubuis, which has a unique rose gold hue and is more resistant to oxidation. The back of the watch is also engraved with the sun, earth and moon, and Dr. Wu's name. The watch is paired with a black 3D calfskin strap engraved with Dr. Wu's language symbols, representing the connection between human beings.
The watch is powered by the RD512 tourbillon movement, which has been redesigned with a titanium tourbillon cage to improve its efficiency and performance. The movement has a 72-hour power reserve and is certified Poinçon de Genève, a prestigious seal of quality and craftsmanship.
