Console footage of the hit indie RPG, Edge of Eternity, was revealed as part of the AG French Direct, a digital event highlighting French creators and their work. This is the first time we have seen the console versions on display. Edge of Eternity caught the eye of many JRPG fans when it was unveiled back in 2017, and more details of the console port will definitely get people excited again.
The console versions are set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in Q1 2022.
Developer Midgar Studio has also released a free update for the PC version that adds new quests, monsters, dialogue, plus a number of balancing tweaks and quality of life improvements that help improve gameplay and enhance the visuals. The update is free to download now.
Edge of Eternity is currently available on Steam. make sure you check back with RPGFan in the run up to the game’s console release.
