On November 17th, Square Enix released the long-awaited 7-inch vinyl single for the theme of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker on the Square Enix Store. While the vinyl comes with a download code, a separate digital version has been made available on Apple Music and Amazon. More information about the release can be found on the official website. Performed by The Primals with vocals from Sam Carter, lead singer of the UK band Architects, the vinyl delivers a great track to tide fans over until the expansion’s launch.
The single comes with two songs. On the front side of the record, you can play Endwalker‘s main theme. “Endwalker – Footfalls” is the track featured in the expansion’s full trailer and can be heard when playing the reverse side of the record. This extended version features callbacks to previous expansions and the additional section that captures the identity of Old Sharlayan all in between the main composition.
Square Enix also released an accompanying music video on the official Final Fantasy XIV YouTube channel.
