The crossplay test will involve Online Seasons and Online Friendlies modes. The feature will have to be manually enabled by players, doing so will be easy, players will simply have to open a widget on the main menu and switch on crossplay.
The announcement that crossplay will be tested in the current entry of FIFA before the release of FC 24 this Autumn will please players. This suggests that EA will work out any and all bugs during its time in FC 24 in preparation for the upcoming FC 24. For a series that has stagnated as the years have gone by, crossplay will offer the FIFA franchise a much-needed face lift.
