For what felt like an age to many fans, God of War Ragnarok's release date evaded gamers. While there was a lot of speculation around when the game would launch, there were also fears of potential delays into the following year. Nonetheless, now that the God of War Ragnarok release date has been officially confirmed to be in November of this current year, it seems like the publicity around the upcoming title can completely begin. Already, some noteworthy God of War Ragnarok fan art has been spotted on a beach, depicting Kratos and Atreus.

The sand sculpture was posted online by Reddit client spqp, who tracked down the giant piece of art at Fulong Beach in Taiwan. The sculpture features a massive mountain scape, with the God of War Ragnarok logo featured atop it. Kratos and Atreus are impeccably shaped from sand as well, with everything except their legs having a specialist level of detail given to them. Essentially, the sculpture appears to be a recreation of the cover art for God of War Ragnarok, with the exception of it is made from sand.

Many praised crafted by the artist who created the sculpture, stating that it was so noteworthy to create such a massive piece of fan art out of sand. Some were stressed that the God of War Ragnarok art could be ruined because of it being made of such an easily destructible material. According to spqp, the sculpture was part of an exhibition where other creators were also making sculptures from sand, however this was the only piece inspired by God of War Ragnarok.

Among those praising the art, there were others who accepted it could inspire an alternate God of War setting. One fan said that, while this art was for God of War Ragnarok, it seemed more like God of War Thebes, alluding to the concept of Kratos traveling to the realm of the Egyptian gods. While many have speculated that God of War could investigate various folklores, it appears to be that for the foreseeable future it is reasonable fans will only see the series' adaptation of the Norse fantasies.

With God of War Ragnarok's release date looming, fan art isn't the only thing gamers are spotting about the game. As of late, Sony distributed another abstract for the upcoming title, revealing what fans can anticipate from God of War Ragnarok's story. Considering the name alone infers players will encounter Norse folklore's apocalypse, there are certain to be a few epic and cinematic minutes throughout.
