This is probably not the announcement that Western fans were hoping for, but NIS America has announced that The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails will release on Steam in Japan on December 11th, 2021. The announcement includes a trailer and details about new additions to the PC version of the game.
Japanese players on Steam will have access to additional configuration options and new gameplay additions including turbo mode, auto-save, and ultra-widescreen support. Additional information can be found on the game’s Steam page, but keep in mind that this is only for the Japanese version of the game despite the English descriptions on the game page.
In case you missed it, Nihon Falcom did announce English versions of The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails and three other Trails games earlier this year. Unfortunately, Western fans will have to wait until 2022 and 2023 to play all of the games.
